These are becoming so common. Of course I'm not a proponent of drunken driving, but I think, in some cases, the legal limit is ridiculous. Not that she's ever had one, but I don't think my mom should get a DUI for driving home after having a marg at happyhour with her girlfriends. It could easily happen to anyone. Here in Phoenix, I'd say 1 in 5 people have one. Slight exaggeration, but pretty close.
It said he was weaving man. And tell that to someone whose got one of their family killed by someone "slightly" over the legal limit. I'm sure they'd approve.
You present a valid point, and I don't condone driving drunk. I'm sorry for your loss if your response was personal.
Maybe people should stop drinking so much? We can't be lenient on something this. Just be happy you can drink alcohol freely. Let not get picky with the laws now.
If they were only sightly over the limit and killed someone it probably wasn't due to the drinking, just coincidence. Cold?
my brother got pulled over after leaving a club with his gf on suspision of drunk driving. they took his b.a.c. at .00 when he was pulled over so they took him in and tested him again after 30 minutes and he tested at .09 so he was charged with a dwi. he lives 10 minutes from that club. i do not condone drunk driving in anyway but cops live to ruin peoples lives. it was dismissed because of the fact that he wasnt actually impaired while he was driving.
Geez. Part of me wants to feel sorry for Al given how badly things have been for him since that nasty knee injury, but incidents like this certainly aren't going to earn you any sympathy.
