    Those of us that apposed the criminal Bush administration were screaming about this at the time but we were labeled traitors and terrorist sympathizers.

    To me, the Obama strategy so far on a lot of these controversial national security programs is to put the word out there that his White House is "against" such programs, but without actively opposing them, or in some cases he even decides to continue with the status quo. His White House is trying too hard not to be disliked or not be too committed to any one side of the debate, I am not a big fan of that tactic. It strikes me as too politically convenient or disingenuous even. Not a big deal in the grand scheme of things, but sort of a pattern developing here early on, IMO of course.
