I might have gotten a little over my head here. I have already taken out a 35 year old outlet on my patio. I didn't mark the wires. How can I find out what wires go where? I know which one is grounding and that's about it. Will it blow up if I hook them up wrong?

On older outlets where the wires aren't color coded - usually the darker color wires go to the "HOT" side.

But if something goes wrong - don't blame me. I'm a VYOF - what do i know, right?
