what do you think having Lee to play more minutes and put Hill in instead of Chuck? Last night, Battier was horrible and Lee was doing a decent job on Kobe and we added a much better offense. I don't see Battier was doing any thing. For Chucky, no defense or rebounding, he is pretty much done. I would rather see Jordan Hill in there because of his youth and leap capability. Not sure if RA was watching the game but he sure didn't see that Chuck was pretty much helpless out there.

I like the idea of Lee beating out Battier eventually. He hasn't earned it just yet. He needs to understand the offense better and cut out the boneheaded plays (albeit hustle plays). Yes as hard as he plays he still made some boneheaded plays at the wrong time. If he can cut those down and get his role is the 4th or 5th option and always look for a better option first than yes he should eventually replace battier. Sorry CBud Fans... on this team Bud and Martin don't work. As for Hill his spot is backup center. Patterson is a better PF than Hill right now and he will only get better. If anyone replaces hayes I hope it's PPat.

    STFU rookie.

Given that there is already a "replace Battier" thread. What makes one think another thread is needed just because one wants to discuss replacing both him and Hayes?

The Coaches are never wrong. We can never disagree with the coaches.

I wonder why do coaches even get fired these days

nothing wrong with opinions, until someone decides their opinion is worth duplicating an ongoing thread and could have also gone in another existing thread..

if there's good analysis it's usually given a pass, but this isn't that..

Thanks for your feedback Shane!! If I played all my minutes with the starters, I may have a plus 9 while I am in the game just like you!! In fact, because I can shoot, it may be higher.

Just to verify this is you Shane, If an isosceles triangle is split diagonally across its axis, what is the square root of 1?

Seems like the Battier defenders are the violent ones. Anyhow. I dont know about Hill but he should get minutes if we arent gonna use him then he should be trade fodder definately if they want to go with Chuck until he retires. Also Budinger i agree to an extent but if Hill is trade fodder and Battier is trade fodder, and Carmelo is definately going tothe Knicks making our picks worthless from them? I say that adds to a recipe of trade material to upgrade the SF position. Battier, Hill, and picks became expendable for such a thing. Makes the most sense.
