Some of you forgot about them because they swept Charlotte and haven't been on TV for a while. They are still the best in the NBA and it would be unwise to bet against them.

Reminder: The San Antonio Spurs were one shot away from being champions and should be favored to win it all

We should just lock it up and sticky this thread. There is nothing more to discuss. :D

They collectively have the most talent, that's for sure. But I'm also 100% sure if they'd been in the west they would not make it to the finals. It's a luxury for LBJ to play subpar teams each year and have a cakewalk to the finals.

Heat should be favored but if CP3 and Blake are both healthy in the Finals, don't count the Clippers out.

How freaking awesome would it be if the Wizards took them out next round?

That would be the greatest thing ever...

Mr. Herrera, I agree with you. The first thing I do every year is write them in as the NBA champions for the coming year, out of respect. If they make the playoffs, then I still slightly favor them unless they are a very low seed. They're still the champs until they get knocked out, and they deserve the benefit of the doubt.

Honestly, I think the Wizards have a dark horse chance of getting to the finals.

I think they have the best starting 5 left in the playoffs. A game changing point guard in Wall, sharp shooting do it all player in Beal, good 3 and D player in Ariza with two big guys that can dominate other bigs with their strength and quickness. Their bench is okay but having experienced guys like Miller has helped them tons.

I don't think they can beat whoever comes out of the West, but I won't be surprised to see them in the Finals or at least challenge the Heat in 6 or 7 games.

I think the clips are a bad matchup for them. They would get hurt on the boards. They are probably better off with the thunder.

Who is disregarding them? If anything the whole year it's been almost automatic that they are going to the finals. The only team that even looked close enough team wise was the Pacers in the east. Since the playoffs and the Pacers troubłes it's pretty much guaranteed. The West is uncertain.

It would be a lot more interesting to see something like Clippers/Wizards, but yeah...it'll probably be Spurs/Heat.

I really hate that the NBA instituted that bye week rule for Miami. Hey at least they are trying to televise some of the Heat's practices. Anyone else think it's messed up that the practice squad is forced to wear Charlotte Bobcat's jerseys?

Any team with Lebron should be the favourite regardless of matchup.

Idk they got the same number of wins as the Rockets, in the East.

Whenever I watch the Heat play, I have to ask myself: why do the other 29 teams expend so much energy earning the right to lose to the Heat? Is it worth it?

Pretty much... hopefully the Spurs don't choke like last year.

Yeah Carl, and OKC was invincible before they played Memphis....

The Heat's Achilles Heel is of course matchups against teams with talented Bigs and good PG play.

So, assuming we agree on that....

    Spurs
    Clippers
    Wiz

Only OKC doesn't cause the aforementioned matchup problems...and if the Thunder somehow get out of the West (not sure that's happening) ...they have a chance.

The Heat will not win it all this year.

It's time for them to go down.

The time IS NOW to bet against them winning it all.

Only team that can beat them in a 7 game series is the Spurs. Spurs couldn't do it last year with Wade hobbling (they should barring a Ray Allen shot). And Wade is much healthier this year than last.

    Clips? Maybe with more experience.

Wiz? Now you can put down the pipe.
