The Rockets vs NUggets games in the 80's were fantastic. Nonstop action fastbreaking slam dunking excitement. The games were always high scoring and a lot of games went to overtime or double overtime. Lewis LLoyd and Ralph Sampson loved playing the Nuggets cause they would get a lot of fastbreak chances and they made the most it. The best game of all between came in 86 the west semifinals gm 6 where the Rockets won in 2 overtimes without Sampson, Akeem, Reid, Mccray and still won. What a great series these team had also Akeem scorered his career high and Alex English got his career high as well.

If I recall correctly, the second overtime was started with none other than Granville Waiters jumping center.

I think that was his one and only claim to fame!

Yeah, those were some exciting games.:D
