Sorry for all the posts, but I'm catching up. Remember when I predicted 66 wins. I look at myself and think stupid. Go ahead tell me how rediculous I am. ------------------ Najera's gonna go Gabe Muoneke on your butt Mihm!
This is not a season for predictions, it's a season to learn from. Those if any who could have predicted the current start were lucky, because they could have never predicted strong slumps on the part of Williams, and to a lesser degree Cat, as well as the early injurie to Charles that has ended his career. Also you have Hakeem seriously injured, and Cato not playing yet like 42 million. Sam Mack we all figured would be somewhere by now, but it is more likely this Christmas to find him under some bridge with a stray dog and a sign that says "WILL WORK FOR BEER". We are receiving lessons this Christmas in the delusional thought of team dynamics being able to have it both ways, of the reality that old superstars can no longer carry you, and that young ones no matter how good can't do it either. Also we are learning like that in the NBA Sophmores often progress instead of regress ("Sophmore slump"), that the spacing system that accompanies dominant big men is simple, and that anything else is pick and roll and motion. This is a year for giving thanks for years past and appreaciating how good we had it, that is when we used to have it good. My New Years resoulution is for patience, because thats what we are going to have to have to survive this season.
It wasn't a stupid prediction. Had the b*stard Pippen stayed, we would have had the most talented team in the league(on paper). But alas, he became a cancer and the experiment failed. You based your prediction on talent, rather than heart and character. Too bad not every "superstar" can be like Clyde...
SoonRock...Tell me if I am wrong, but I believe you made that prediction after Pippen left. Haven't even seen you around astros connnection soonRock
I believe it was when we had Francis, Hakeem, and Charles all intact. At the time it didn't seem rediculous though. Maybe I was half right and they'll lose 66. ------------------ Najera's gonna go Gabe Muoneke on your butt Mihm!
Yes, that's right, predict 66 losses. The way things are going with your predictions we'll probably go on a ten game winning streak.
Najera's gonna go Gabe Muoneke on your butt Mihm! What does that mean? haven't watched enough UT Ball to know. BTW Gabe looks like someone that will go undrafted. Is his game Decent. He seems to work hard but. . . I don't know if he got. . . THE STUFF. Rocket River
Gabe won't be drafted. good athletism, but he doesn't think on the court. He is actually smart enough to major in engineering off the court. Poor sportsmanship. I wish he was kicked off the team, but then the horns wouldn't have enough players to play. The eight man rotation has two walk ons.
