relationship-How do you know if you are ready for marriage?

    I have been with my girlfriend for one and half years and I want to ask you guys how do you know if the girl your with is ready for marriage? Some background infomation. I met her while traveling to Vietname she is from Minneapolis. We are 11 years apart. She feels that I can't give her a 100% of my heart because of my last relationship. But I'm afraid that because of her age she might not be ready for a long term relationship like marriage. How do you know if a girl loves you and if she is ready for marriage. Thanks for any advice.

    Wait until you break up with her because of constant arguing, type in all italics, then propose to her in front of everyone at church. That is the only way to know you are ready.

    I have been dating my chick for 11 years, we live together...no marriage, no kids...take that as advice, as I watch all my friends deal with all their obligations and tuck their tail between their legs. This could be something you want to print and hang both at home and work.

    I'm 35 and have career doing International HR. She just got out of college and is still exploring the world. I don't want to miss this opportunity because we get along so well. She drives me crazy but I love that feeling of being young again when I'm with her. Life is much better than hitting the bars, poker, and hanging with my married friends. I want to come home to her everyday but I feel that she might not be ready for that.

    What you can do is just continue dating until she is ready if you really want to be with her...you don't have a biological clock to worry about.
