What's Battier when u think about it is that early cabinet firings/resignations usually replace the scandalous with a steadier hand.

Did Trump assume this is Obama thinking and decide to do the exact opposite?

It's because the mouth breathers have been told time and time again how Obama lowered the bar (There goes the neighborhood with his Gangsta Government!) that they'll willingly accept a person who "does something" about it.

500 years from now, our monkey overlords will do a remake of Gladiator with Trump as Commodus.

He deserved to be fired. He was the one who got Trump to put Repealing and Replacing Obamacare as the top priority, and it had been botched from the get-go. He hadn't been able to stop leaks or function in the way that you would hope a chief of staff can function.

It's true that all of that is more difficult because of Trump's cluelessness, vanity, etc. But still, it is understandable that Priebus would be fired. The truth is that I don't know who could get the group that Trump has assembled to work well.

Of course, those may not be the reasons that he resigned, but it is what it is.

Gracchus: Fear and wonder, a powerful combination.
Falco: You really think people are going to be seduced by that?
Gracchus: I think he knows what Rome is. Rome is the mob. Conjure magic for them and they'll be distracted. Take away their freedom and still they'll roar. The beating heart of Rome is not the marble of the senate, it's the sand of the coliseum. He'll bring them death - and they will love him for it.

    With a few edits. . .

Gracchus: I think he knows what AMERICA is. AMERICA is the REALITY TV SHOW. Conjure THEATER for them and they'll be distracted. Take away their freedom and still they'll roar. The beating heart of AMERICA is not the marble of the senate, it's the LEDs of the TELEVISION AND INTERNET. He'll bring them death - and they will love him for it.

It doesn't matter if General Kelly is the most distinguished and most hard line feared Chief of Staff to ever work in the White House.

The only question that matters is "Will Donald Trump change?"

Kelly might be able to band aid a few things here and there but let's be honest about what this really changes in the Trump presidency.., probably not much.

Rinse Pubis never had a chance in this White House. He wasn't one of Trump's guys during the election and it seemed like Trump was forced to take him on. This was more inevitable than Spicey.

I just laugh at this whole thing. "I'm going to hire the best!" he said. This ain't the end.m, either. Sessions will be gone soon. This Mooch guy seems more likely to end up in prison than finishing out this term. I think Bannon doesn't last the year. I wouldn't be the least bit surprised to see Hannity in the administration before too long. This circus will only get weirder.

Jesus... these guys are worse than Kyrie Irving's friends, and likely more than twice the age. Thanks, Trump voters.
