Well, the regular season is finished.

Before the playoffs begin in earnest, however, we have a 1 game playoff between SamCassell's Chicago Cubs and Anticope's Cardinals.

The playoffs will probably begin tomorrow, borrowing my expected move back to the dorms being more difficult than anticipated ;).

    The playoff teams:

    AL:
    Seattle Mariners (100-62) Stevefrancis3
    Boston Red Sox (98-64) Nomar
    Cleveland Indians (97-65) Heath
    WildCard: Minnesota Twins (94-68) kbm
    NL
    Atlanta Braves (99-63) TheCat
    Houston Astros (99-63) haven
    Arizona Diamondbacks (87-75) RavenLunatic
    Wildcard: undecided

    For more information and stats:

    http://users2.ev1.net/~morningstarmanor/simleague/ccnet/league.htm

(as soon as it finishes uploading; currently uploading as of 7:33pm)

    Post playoff rosters in thisthread.

Haven, the twins got the wildcard in the AL, right? If so, can you tell me which of my pitchers pitched last? Thanks.

Dammit... I lost best record. :(

Haven, who has home field, me or you? Also, I assume I get the Cubs or Cards, because you can't play them in the first cause of the same division rule, correct?

I'll post my playoff roster shortly. Basically it's going to be the same as my roster pre-September 1, with the exception that Rain will take the roster spot temporarily vacated by Rhodes' injury.

I like my shot in the 1 game playoff. Kerry Wood will start for my squad on full rest. Since the Cards lost Morris to injury and Kile pitched the last day of the season, they will be at a disadvantage.

    Haven,

Please try to get all of the changes on this roster... I will need it against a tough first round opponent. Also notice the 3 man rotation.

By the way, will you announce what time you will do the playoffs, and if so, can you do it in 2 different sessions? Give us one chance to adjust if our team falls flat on its face, please? :)

    Haven,

I want to have a three man pitching rotation. Put the other starters in both mopup and ML. Keep my batting order the same.

    Here's my rotation:

    First Game - Milton
    Second Game - Mays
    Third Game - Radke

NOTE: Since radke pitched last, I'm assuming Milton is rested. If that's not the case, let me know.

Also, put radke on quick pull, if possible.

I'm pretty sure I'm going to have to let go of the A's due to a very busy schedule this fall. I'm staying in the basketball league though because it's fairly low maintenance. Kind of sucks since I had a nice little plan going on with my team and someone else will now **** it all up.

It was a fun league haven and it kind of sucks that I couldn't complete my plan of league domination for the upcoming season.

Well, this is a little belated, but here's how I'd like my rotation to go for games 3 through 5.

    Game 3: Tavarez
    Game 4: Wood
    Game 5: Moyer (if necessary)

Also you must not have caught this above: I'd like Steve Rain, and his 1.84 ERA, on my roster (as one of my 3 middle relievers) instead of Rick Aguilera and his 14.09 ERA. No harm no foul since Aguilera didn't pitch those 1st two games.
