Registration sucks As a college freshman, so far my first trilogy of registration has been nothing but dissapointing. I hate having to wake up early only to find every single class, even your backups filled. I'm a political Science major, and I don't even have one pols class for this summer or next fall. I feel like i'm going to rage. I think i'm falling off the wagon and taking up "rageahol" again.
ya...registration blows. i couldn't even get on the damn UT site today cuz they couldn't handle all the traffic...u think they'd prep ahead. when i finally got on, of course two of my classes close in the span of 2 seconds....life sucks. and i have to wake up at 7 am tomorrow to register for my roommate cuz he's taking a test during his registration period.....AGHHHHH!!!
I recall trying to register my first day at Texas Tech back in 1989. It took two days of sitting in my counselor's office just to get started and essentially another day to get registered. It was crap.
I feel for you guys who had to register during the pre-computer/telephone days. The computer system is so nice, I'm spoiled. I could never wait in line to do a paper registration. The past Wed. I woke up, looked at the online course schedule, jotted down some unique #'s, waited for my time, and entered it all in under 1 minute. Everyone gets crappy registration times as freshmen. By the time, you're a senior you will have first pick...and it feels good
I just read the topic I typed in for this thread. I have no idea what I was on, "Registration is a sucks," man I feel stupid.
No joke. Last semester English: 8:30-9:20 No Class: 9:20-10:30 Design: 10:30-12:20 No Class: 12:30-2:30 Drawing: 2:30-5:20 Six hours of classes conveniently stretched over the whole ****ing day.
Yeah, I waited way to long to register for registration. I'm going to be one of the very last people to register at A&M now. Fun.
actually those are crappy class times, not crappy registration times but they go hand in hand. thanks to passing out of gov't over winter break, i got to 90 hours after only 3 semesters so i will be a senior from here on in. nothing but the prime registration times for me. i remember last semester when everyone found out this one guy was teaching EE331, everyone was trying to get in that class. i tried at night but the UT site wasn't working from all the traffic and by the time i got in it was full. since the guy is old, i have to pray he keeps teaching another year.
Welcome to TEX, the Telephone Enrollment Exchange for the University of Texas at Austin. Please enter the seven-digit unique number of the course you wish to add. That course was not added. The section you have chosen has been filled. Thank you and good luck.
