Reggie Miller was on the Greig kilbourn show last night and talked about the Worlds. He said there are some strong teams like Yugo with Divac and Stojakovich, and China with Yao Ming. Kilbourn asked him if this guy, Yao Ming, was any good, and Reggie said "I have noooooooo idea" Then Kilbourn made a comment how Ming was very tall but with short arms, and Reggie just smiled. Reggie is pretty cool, btw.

I always like Reggie Miller. I've seen people call Miller a punk and whatever because he talks trash on the court (who doesn't?), but he leaves the trash talking on the court or for the game, and he's pretty classy off the court and stays out of trouble. I always wondered by the Spurs never made a run at Miller when his contract was up, he would be the perfect fit there.

Well .. this thread has depressed me. Anyone who got down like me reading all these horrible memories? Close your eyes, breathe out .... breathe in .. use a bag if necessary. Now, try to think happy thoughts :)! Remember when Junk Yard dog hit that baseline bomb in Phoenix? Joy!!!!! I know the Rocks have been down in recent years, but put in perspective. I had the advantage of seeing the reprecussions of Elie's shot over the years in Phoenix since I lived there. That shot denied the best chance the Suns ever had a winning a title. And they NEVER have won anything. And what did Johnny Hog Stockton get for his 5 minutes of fame shot. A spanking at the hands of MJ. Utah titles. Zilcho. We had the great fortune of being graced by the play of a Mr. Hakeem Olajuwon who has brought the only two championships to Houston in any sport. Anyone mad at Hakeem for how it ended ... just think of the good times. They were better times than Phoenix or Utah will ever know. See doesn't that make you feel better? When ever I get down, I just think of someone else who has it worse ;)

I caught the show...very funny I thought. Funniest part was probably when Kilborn asked Reggie how many rings Kobe'll get once Shaq retires. Reggie paused, and Kilborn loudly said, "O" and formed a zero with his hands. Reggie chuckled and I think, nodded.

Anyways, Reggie doesn't seem like the "punk" that many have claimed. He's even modest...during the "5 questions" segment, he was asked, "Who's the better clutch shooter, Reggie Miller or Robert Horry?". And he was being really modest, saying "Oh, I have no idea, that's a hard one, etc."

BTW, anyone catch who was on before Reggie? ;)

Man, if the Kilborn show didn't suck so much I might have actually seen my favorite non-Rocket of all time. He does usually get pretty good guests on that show, but I can't stand his comedy segments before the guests come on.

Reggie is a very classy guy off the court. That can probably be said for a lot of guys that appear to be punks on the court. I can imagine that they get a little too fired up sometimes.

The host asked him whether the Knicks were a team in "transition" or do they just "suck".

Reggie said the Knicks just "suck". :D
