Everyone says 5th round

If that is the Case. . . I say Pittsburgh takes him at the end of the 4th
With Randle El gone. . . they need a new Slash
and
Reggie Fits the bill

he is a better QB than Randle El was

Reggie would've been a 2nd or 3rd rounder at QB if he came out after his junior year. His senior year was an unmitigated disaster as he overthrew receivers regularly, showed no pocket presence, and demonstrated inadequate leadership skills. Hell, even Fran benched him for the season finale vs Texas at Kyle Field.

But, I will say that with the success that Antwan Randle-El and Hines Ward in the NFL, I wouldn't be surprised to see him drafted as a WR. He's got legit 4.4 speed and decent size at 6'2. I think someone might just take a 3rd round flyer at best, but he could fall to the 4th round.

Big Ten Player of the Year, 1st Team All-American. On a crappy team, no less.

I'm intrigued by McNeil. He had a horrible and injury plagued senior year.

His junior year was pretty good and he was a dark horse for a run on the Heisman before his craptacular senior season.

He is extremely physically gifted. He is not only flat out fast, but his acceleration is very fast as well.

I think a lot of teams will be looking at him as a pure athelete in the third to fifth rounds.

What intrigues me most about his is his arm. He has a cannon, and before his senior year, he showed pretty good accuracy, especially on quick short passes that a lot of NFL teams use.

If in 5 years he turns out to be a total bust and never play any significant time, I wouldn't doubt it. If after 5 years he turns out to be a decent NFL player, I wouldn't doubt that either.

The Texans will be able to get something real nice for that 4th round pick.

Either they go to bed Saturday night knowing that there is someone very good who should of been a first day pick that they really want with that number one pick of day two or they figure there are a couple of guys that they want and then a trade down a few spots for an extra pick.

As far as Mcneil I would be very disapointed if we drafted him in the forth round because we have no fifth round pick and the sixth and seventh rounds are tough to land a player who will be more than a practice squad guy.

Well there is a 1 in 32 chance he goes to the texans.

he's not going to the Astros and he's not going to the Comets so let me be the first to say...

There is a 96% chance this thread is in the wrong forum. :D

I was wondering about that
Is this the forum for all things Baseball and football
or
only Astros and Texans?

Yeah -- Randle El was a special college player. McNeil is gifted athletically, but his accomplishments on the football field don't compare.

You post is Mclame.

Care to enlighten us all again on the prowess of Mcneal over VY? The Bush or Young thread is too long for me to go dig out all those classics you posted there.

And you didn't even answer the question... "Where do you think he'll go in the draft"?

Reggie ran a 4.35 in the combine. He'd make a nice returner and receiver for some team
