So my ipod screen finally died. I was looking into buying an 32 or 64 gig ipod touch. I saw that the apple store sells refurbished ipods for much cheaper. Has anyone ever bought one? Is it worth it?
fwiw, I got the current gen refurbed Nano from Apple after exchanging it for my 1st Gen Nano's recall back in November. Haven't had any issues with it. My sister bought a refurbed first gen iPad from them last year, had no issues. I'd take a look at Craigslist if your looking for an iPod touch. I got my iPod classic 120gb and iPod Nano fatty (3rd Gen) at some pretty good prices in great condition.
The Apple refurb store has a very good reputation. I see people on Mac forums recommend it highly and I've seen few, if any complaints. Most say you couldn't tell the difference from brand new stuff except for the packaging. I might buy my next laptop from there instead of new when the time comes around. I've also seen people recommend Amazon warehouse deals. I haven't seen many reviews, but all have been good. And you don't have to pay tax, of course.
Nice. I'll probably be buying a Macbook refurbished. Thanks for posting Luckily, I can compile ICS and use ADB for Android related projects on Macs
Boss gave us a refurbished IPad and we have no problems. We may have to look into refurbished Apple products next time.
Add another + to the Apple refurbishing products. Got an iPad a few years ago, looked and worked brand new.
