    Marc Stein @ESPNSteinLine

Hearing that next very familiar NBA name to launch his comeback in the D-League will be vet guard Rafer Alston. Could have a team by Friday

Doubt it. I would think Arenas would come back before Alston.

Alston hasn't played in the NBA since after his stint in NJ.

I guess Former Rockets Star Mike James really inspired his fellow Former Rockets Star Rafer.

Hell, maybe we can use this guy. Not entirely sure our Kyle Lowry dependency problem is solved with Lowry playing 43 minutes last game.

Yeah, it wont be the same without him being ejected and pulling off a couple of street moves.

I'm not a Rafer fan, but if the Magic hadn't jammed Jameer Nelson back into the starting lineup to see his first action in months during the Finals, Dwight would already have one ring.

Agreed. I have absolutely no idea why they put a guy who hadn't played in months back into the starting lineup when Alston had been one of their key components that got them into the finals that year.
