If Reed Sheppard is close to Steve Nash. This can be a High Octane Offense, 7 Seconds or Less Offense.

It will be both 2000s Sacramento Kings and mid 2000s Phoenix Suns.

Houston Rockets offense can be unstoppable with Reed Sheppard, Alperen Sengun and Amen Thompson passing and play making.

Your absolutely rational and likely right in your thoughts. I'm hoping he exceeds all of our expectations, because that's been his mark at each level he's touched so far. I believe he's driven to be great and that added to his plethora of skills and talent make for a very powerful combination.

If Sheppard can lead the Rockets SL team to victory, there's an outside chance he could redeem himself in a matchup against OKC's Jack Gohlke-led squad. When will our final summer league roster be posted? Perhaps this weekend?

Another note: I saw an online listing with Shahada Wells on the Houston SL roster. He played quite well for McNeese, leading them to the NCAA tournament. He's another active 6'2-ish guard. But at age 24, the odds are stacked against him breaking through and into the league.

 

If he shoots lights out from early on then the rest of his game takes care of itself. Expecting him to play Holiday minutes+. On paper he's the perfect partner for Amen, but don't expect them to play multiple long stretches together in games until post-FVV.

 

Defensive contribution isn't confined to stopping dribble penetration. Sheppard had one of the best +/- of a freshman in the last 20 years. That's not possible if you're consistently getting torched and provide no impact on the defensive end.

 

Reed averaged 4.4 steals per game in High School his junior season. His intuition on that end is no fluke.

 

With that personality and country accent she could be a milf version of the Hawk Tuah girl.
