I thought Johnson and Schilling didn't get along well together? I personally think that the Sox should focus on getting their defense to play with less errors...then again, Lowe, Wakefield, and Arroyo probably won't cut it as the 3-5 pitchers.
Johnson and Schilling were close when both were in Az. It was the management that players there didn't like.
The would have about the best top three guys in can recall if they were to pull that off. I imagine that Boston will have to thrown in some good prospects along with Nomar. It will be interesting to see how this develops and who ends up with Johnson. I figure that NY wont let this happen quietly.
johnson, schilling, pedro would be obscene. just how would the BoSox screw it up? i guess the answer is by not getting it to happen in the first place.
According to ESPNRadio this morning, the Cubs have a stocked minor league system so they would trade some prospects to the BoSox for Nomar, and Boston would move the prospects on to Arizona for Johnson...
