It’s that time of year again- preseason- which means Red Rowdies auditions are around the corner. Audition format is a bit different this year which is why I'm really trying to get the word out online. Previously, we’ve held auditions during Open Practice or before a preseason game, but we’re changing things up, and auditions will be held during a preseason game. Because of this new audition style, we need contact information of people trying out in advance. think 3 strikes and urrrrrrr out? Maybe two absences is ok if I recall. between preseason few games + 41 regular season home games + playoffs no excuse. Just doooooo it tochieeee, I believe in ya.
It's a new format to me, and I really don't know many details, but I would guess that those auditioning would be given a ticket in the Red Rowdies section, and then go through the game as if they were a Rowdy- doing the romp and cheering during the game. Meanwhile, the people judging would be paying close attention to those auditioning and select the ones that would make the greatest additions to the group. If by all the games, you mean only a handful, that's not an issue. They are understanding for you missing a few games. However, if it's a lot, there is a possibility you could be an alternate, and go to games when Rowdies can't (but our alternate list is fairly big now.) I never got it!
