    Hey Rowdies -

    T-Mac just bought 20 more season tix and here's how to win:

    First Viewing Party of the Season
    Wednesday, November 1st at 8:00 pm at Dave & Busters
    The Houston Rockets are tipping off the 2006-2007 season in Utah but T-Mac is looking for 20 deserving LOUD & PROUD fans to give season tickets right here in Houston! Join us for our first Viewing Party of the season at Dave & Busters of Houston.

    Every break in the game action will feature contests, prizes, and appearances from the Power Dancers. And to tip off the season in style, we are giving away 20 full season tickets at halftime!

    To join the Red Rowdies, come to the Viewing Party fully dressed in your Rockets gear and prepare to be LOUD! In addition, we will have a live broadcast on Sports Radio 610 with Matt & Adam. There will be plenty of prizes, giveaways, and making a special appearance – Clutch!

    Bring out the Rowdies to Dave & Busters on Richmond & Fountainview on Wednesday, November 1, at 8:00 pm.

    As encouragement, at the last tryouts only about 60 people showed up, some of whom didn't bother to wear any red. Since they gave out 30 tickets, you had a better than 50/50 shot at getting season tix if you wore red.

    If nothing else, the tryouts were freaking histerical as we laughed with AND at many of the contenstants. It was a lot of fun. So come on out even if you don't want to tryout.

    I still don't know the age limit. The last audition was 18+, but since this one is at D&Bs I don't know. :confused:

    Is it gonna be the same time this time? They're only giving out 30 tickets? I have a feeling more than 60 ppl will show up now that its closer to the season.

    Be at Dave & Buster's at 7:45 pm tonight. I heard that Hawaiian guy who emcees the viewing parties will be choosing people.

    I heard that clutchfans are encouraged to attend as there are already members on the Red Rowdies.

    Yes. The Viewing Party is tonight. The contest will be at halftime. Since the game starts at 8, halftime would then be somewhere around 9:30. But I presume you'd want to be there earlier than 9:30 to sign up.

    TMac is giving away only 20 tickets this time. I get the sense that not a whole lot of people will show up again. Like last time, this hasn't been heavily advertised. It was mentioned maybe 2-3 times during the preseason games but how many people watch those?

    Basically, you need to be a die-hard fan to have paid enough attention to catch on to this ...which is how it should be anyway. I'd be surprised if more than 100 tryout. ...and I'd bet most of those people that do show up will suck. If you show up with your face painted, in costume and something partially clever to say, your chances will be very good.

    I heard that the early fans will be rewarded because they will cut registration at the end of the 1st qtr.

    the second quarter of the Utah viweing party game will basically be the tryouts.

    halftime is when they pick the 20...

    also heard RPD will be debuting their new uniforms.

    During the first tryouts, we were told after we arrived that the handfull of us that arrived early would be given special consideration. Off the top of my head, I think every early arriver was awarded tickets.

    So yes, if it were me (and it was), I'd definately not show up at 9:30.
