I know there are other Red Dwarf fans here (Smeg?), but I can't remember ever having a discussion about it . . .

*SPOILERS* for those who haven't seen it all

Yesterday, I finished watching the whole series. I'd seen the first five seasons on PBS many years ago, and came across the whole thing recently. I just spent two weeks watching every episode. It was great! Well, kindof . . .

Season 6 was mostly awful, IMO. So was season 8. I didn't like Kochanski returning, and I especially hated the season 8 Kochanski. That last year just felt so tacked-on. And in some episodes, it felt like they were just trying to kill time with repetition, and long-winded salutes, and everything. But, the last episode was pretty good. It did leave things in an ominous situation though. I'm thinking the only one who can save Rimmer now is Ace.

The movie is supposed to start filming next month!

Yeah I loved the early seasons but the last few were not very good.

I am looking forward to the movie though.
