My girlfriend and I have reservations for here tomorrow night. Has anyone ever been and is the court visible from the seating arrangements?

can't say i've eaten there, but took a tour of the toyota center recently and went through the full arena. there are a line of tables that overlook the game and would be excellent.

Food is good but not spectacular. It is hard to make buffet food unreal. Seats are good as well.

did u just get reservations for the Bistro or get the ledge dining seats also?

If u just got the dinner, the tables aren't facing the court, but you can request a table with the best view of the court, I've done this plenty of times and even went during the 07 Playoffs Game 6 (where Chuck took the charge from Fisher to seal the game) and Game 9 of 22, Novak's game winner (with an ex-gf). The view isn't the greatest but watchable.

If you got the ledge dining, you'll get a table that's facing the court, which I think face value goes for $100.

Food is great, I've tried to go at least once every year, but haven't been in 2 years. Check the menu tomorrow, at times they have filet mignon in the buffet, can't go wrong with that.

Hey Dave, I only got reservations for the bistro. If I request for a table with the best view of the court, will they charge me extra at the end of my dinner?

nope, not at all, the table isn't facing the court, just have to turn to your head to see the court, which time did u get? before the game? or during?

If you got the early seating, I believe you have to leave before the game starts, if you got the late seating (15 mins before tipoff), you can stay till the end of the game, but the buffet stops at the end of the 3rd qtr.

Also, don't stress on soft drinks, I was thinking they'd charge like $5 then extra for refills, last time I was there, it was only $2-3 for each person and free refills.

My reservations are for 6:15pm, essentially 15 minutes after tipoff. How much have you paid on average there? I'm expecting to pay around $80-90. Also, did you enjoy the buffet? Sorry for all the questions.

Its $40/person, so with drink, tip, I'd say $50-55 person, so expect to shell out at least $100 for the 2 of you.

I enjoyed it, I went like 3 more times after I went the first time back in the 06-07 season. If your a big meat eater, its great, desserts are awesome too. You can call in before hand, and have them email you a menu of what's going to be served so you'll know ahead of time what they are having. I get the emails every so often with my Rocket Insider emails, but not for every game.

no worries on the questions, if u have anymore, feel free to ask

This might be a weird question, but is it an all-you-can-order buffet?

its not order from the waiter, its straight up stand in line buffet, most of the big entries have servers that serve it to you, the rest are just out there (crackers, cheese, side dishes, desserts) for the taking
