So there's boxes of old VHS tapes (old cartoons, crappy movies, sports clips...no p*rn though) that I don't plan on watching again. I don't see a reason to keep them, so I suppose disposing of them is what's going to happen.

Question is, should I toss them out in the trash, or is there a place that can reuse/recycle the plastic?

For that matter, same question for old CDs and DVDs...is there a service/place/machine that can recycle the plastic?

I donated all of mine to goodwill. I am sure there are many people with only a vcr and they could use them.

What if you accidentally send the Goodwill a homemade porno circa 1993?
