.......i was just wondering, what was the rockets win-loss record in the second half of the season, compared to the first half?? because, i seem to remember the rockets playing a lot better, more like a team in the latter half of last season. and i was just trying to make some prediction as to what out record will be at the end of the season?? anyone? ------------------ "A Champion team will always beat a team of Champions"
Through 40 games last season... We were 16-24. The 40th game was against the Heat, we won 101-88. Through the first 34 games we were actually 10-24, but won 6 straight from there. So this season we're 4 games ahead of where we were last season. Only 4 games ahead? Not much improvement there. Of course, the first half this year was much harder than last year. ------------------ "Rarely is the question asked: Is our children learning how to put food on their family while being put to death."
Not to mention we've had a few injuries that well, left us with no front line. ------------------ "No Brain Grant, no trade." -- Typos are a b**** as ZRB is holding Rocket trades hostage while he seeks a brain. Conspiracy theorists say this would explain why Hakeem has yet to be traded...
If we stay the course that would give us an 8 game improvement over last year. I would take a 42 and 40 record. Considering the toughest part of our schedule is behind us and we have a ton of eastern conference games coming up I think we will see a dramatic improvement in the secound half of the season. I could see us finnishing with 45 to 47 wins if our front court can get healthy and stay healthy for the remainder of the season. ------------------
