I'm wondering if anyone can tell me what the best remedies are to get rid of impacted earwax at home or recommend a clinic that doesn't require insurance? I have already tried the over the counter stuff like Murine and it's not working. I live in the Heights area . Thanks for the help! :(

Get one of those syringe thingies. I have to do this every couple of years.

And it can take dozens of tries to flush it out. It's a pain in the ass, but it will come out eventually. Typically takes me thirty minutes to an hour.

go buy liquid colace...a little hard to find but you might get a mom & pop pharmacy to order a bottle. put 4-8 drops in ear canal and let stay for about 15-20minutes before you flush out with lukewarm water.

btw colace is a stool softener but it does work for this also...

Haven't had the earwax problem in years....but thats a cool tool. I might just get one in case it ever happens again.
