1. Camby gets 5 games for throwing a punch at Danny Ferry (we'd all like to punch him) and connecting with Van Gundy (we'd all like to punch him). 2. Rasheed Wallace gets 2 games for throwing a towel in a ref's face and repeatedly having to be restrained from going after the ref. 3. Jason Kidd gets 0 games for punching his wife. So that draws the conclusion that the NBA gives higher credence to (in order): 1. Danny Ferry/Jeff van Gundy 2. Referees 3. Wives As an aside, Bobby Chouinard who pitched for the Diamondbacks (owned by Jerry Colangelo) was given his release after being involved in a domestic violence dispute (not convicted at the time), yet Jason Kidd does not get released. Hmmmmmm, it seems that Colangelo picks his places to make a stand against domestic violence. ------------------
Chouinard's situation was more extreme because didn't he hold a gun to his wife's head and threaten to kill her? And the reason for the lengths of the suspension is that Camby threw a punch, which is worse than throwing a towel, while kidd committed his offense off the court (although I still think he should have been suspended). ------------------ The whole world we travel with our thoughts, Finding nowhere anyone as precious as one's own self.
