Artest & Yao vs Artest & TMac are like night and day. From watching the two play together, I am guessing they gel for the following reasons: 1) First and foremost, Yao does not have any attitude (unlike TMac). Yao is a pacifist and is a team player. This is why Yao & TMac work well. One has attitude (TMac) and one doesn't (Yao). It's the same with Artest & Yao - one has attitude (Artest) and one doesn't (Yao). 2) Artest is just in love with jacking 3 pts this year. Ironically, he works well with Yao because Yao will often kick out to Artest when Yao is double teamed. 3) Yao is more than happy to defer to the "other" star if the other star is playing well. Yao has often deferred to TMac in the past when TMac was having a hot game. The same goes for Artest, when Artest is playing well. Now if we can fix this issue for Artest and TMac (sigh)
Because Artest is a better 3 pt shooter than Kneemac. Because he's tougher than Kneemac. Because he plays way better defense than Kneemac.
