i got into bball a few weeks before the nba playoffs in 91, but my hatred for sa started in 93.these are the reasons
1- the clippers and spurs practically handed david the scoring title in 93
and also in 93-remember the shot that shouldnt of counted at the last regular season game? that cost us home court against seattle.
then in 95- they tank the season to get tim duncan,i know david was injured but come on,they werent that bad.
and ever since they have a our number the majority of the time.
i only side with them once,to beat la last year, but thats it.

I was at that game, and had a clear view. No way did that shot beat the buzzer.

The best was when Pop fired Coach Hill after the "tank" season and basically credits his coaching job (and not the acquisition of Tim Duncan plus the return of Robinson & Elliot) for turning the franchise around.

I can't stand that crater face.

I spent my college days in SA, though, so when they're not playing the Rockets I still kinda root for 'em, asterisk and all.

I get upset at the way Duncan goes to the Ref all the time for a private wisper in his ear and never gets called when he gets upset.

Also, the Spurs lost to the Suns the 2nd to the last game last season. A Spurs win would have put us tied with the Suns for the eighth, in which I think we had the tiebreaker.

Still should have won our lower end games especially against Pheonix at the end.
