*The team we play has more energy than us.

*We do not run our plays properly and we just go for bad shots

*We overlook how bad they really are and think we can just get an easy win

*We do not play as hard and the other team beats us to the punch

*Hurt players always rest their injury when going against the bad teams and we do not have a full lineup. PS. WHEN WE R ABOUT TO GET HEALTHY SOMEONE GETS INJURED AGAIN

*We are incosistent when scoring through quarters.
    Clippers Game:we only scored 16 in 3rd and 18 in 4th
Griz :scored 19 points and the griz scored 32 which change the game cuz rox couldnt catch up

*And last: the other team wants it more

:D WE ARE THE ROCKETS WE ARE SUPPOSE TO PUT THESE TEAMS DOWN

4th quarter collapses and not being able to close out mediocre teams has always been a problem for the rockets.

Could it be that we lose to bad teams because .... we're bad?

did Worrell and Bullard not stress enough that the clippers ARE NOT as bad as their record indicates??? They may have been missing Kaman and Davis, but Camby is still a great defensive player and both Davis and Randolph can pretty much score on anyone. The way Randolph was shooting there wasn't much Houston could do. Yeah they made mistakes and didn't play well, but the clippers hit timely shots.

Not to make excuses, but last night is a little different. 2 late games back to back. Plus, we arnt a great (using that term lightly) team without our big 3. Without them all, we are average and can easily lose to easy teams. With all 3, we will be much better. Not saying we wont lose to scrubs, but it shouldnt happen as often.

    1. Back to back? Clippers were on a worse back to back. Their previous game went to 2 OT. What does that mean? They wanted it more; they were more aggressive.

    2. We aren't great with our big 3? If you haven't noticed... last season without Artest we manage to win 22 games straight. Wait... for around half of the 22 games streak Yao was out. You are telling me we can't beat a team like the freaking Clippers or Memphis?

We are inconsistent because the players' mindsets are wrong. They are playing down to their ability. They think they should rest against the easier teams. They don't want to go full out for 48 minutes. I don't see the same desire they had in the 22 game streak Simple as that.

    1. outcoached.

    2. no desire to win.

    3. no leader on the floor, all confused soldier.

    4. too small

    5. refuse to do the hard yard. (fans always predict blow out against bad teams)

    6. no momentum so far.

it's simple. they forgot what is our winning recipe.

our winning recipe is to start our offense with yao. the rest is just cutting, ball movement and getting open look or open lane. if opponents dare not to double/triple team or not to front yao, yao will punish them.

this winning strategy has been talked in every postgame interview. however, in the 2nd half of last nite, especially yao back from medical treatment, yao merely involved our offense 4 or 5 times total. if you don't understand what i am talking about, go back to watch the game on DVR.

    3. inconsistent rotations every game due to the injuries

i'm sure that the clippers' big win the night before had them pumped for our game

Personally I'm more worried about if we beat the good teams and not weather we beat the bad teams.

I think we were just outhussled. They had the far, more athletic team, and they used that against us.

The rockets lose to bad teams because they are mentally lazy.

Uh what? Which good teams have we beat in a blowout? The only one that I can think of is the Spurs, the first game in which they had their players returning from injuries.
