I sure hope that is the reason because he played more like Shawn Bradley in the second half than the Yao Ming we saw in the first half.

    Interesting.

Well for those who don't read Chinese, the article basically says: "Yao left with 4 minutes left in the game and the trainer was gone too. Later one after the game, Cato was dressed and ready to go and Yao was still in a towel. His face scrunched up in pain he said 'I had a bad stomach,' got some medicine from the trainer and should be OK."

That partially explains why he never went back in after the 5th fould. But then again he wasn't needed.

I knew it! My wife and I were at the game, and saw Yao holding his stomach and wincing in pain. We didn't know how he was injured because he hadn't even been on the floor. Then he ran into the tunnel. After he returned seemingly more relaxed, we bet that it was either loose bowels, or food poisoning or something.

Actually, the rumor is that Yao had his kidney taken out before the game. Yao's kidney is in a jar waiting for Alonzo Mourning.

    Okay, bad joke. I'm sorry.

Ever wonder what the stool of a 7'5'' man looks like? Perhaps it can be described as "like a small python"? OK, sorry for the grossed out imagery.

So he had the Hershey squirts, he could have taken something or eaten a block of cheese to plug him up.

This could have been a great defensive tactic. The double-teams would have simply vanished if Yao had relaxed his spincter.

I'm pretty sure the Clippers put some laxatives in his water bottle.

What are you trying to convey here? Are you confused, mad, or just being silly?

I was at the game, and saw Yao holding his stomach and wincing in pain. This happened after a long spell on the bench. He then walked back to the locker room, and came back seemingly better.

He wasn't injured in the game, he went back to the locker room for some reason. This story makes perfect sense based on what I saw.
