ouch, the Rockets do lack some key players before they can compete for a championship next year!!!

    1. Lakers are solidos
    2. phoenix can play without kidd and googs
    3. Wolves are gooing to be good
    4. Kings aren't getting too much better
    5. blazers are about to be dismantled
    6. jazz still have another good year?
    7. spurs how will they play without T. duncan
    8. sonics have trouble brewing in chemistry
    9. Mavericks, wow, imagine rudy coaching them
10.Rockets have two good guys, Rudy and steve
11.Vancouver is loaded with talent and ouch..
12.and below suck beyond belief not worthy of mentioning

Well, in conclusion, the Jazz have at least one more good year, the sonics still have payton, Sacramento is still young, Minnesotta has garnett playing like he's being payed, Phoenix can only STILL improve, the mavericks have serious talent.

Well this is it, the only team the Rockets can bump from the playoffs are the Blazers after they get dismantled!!!!

Rocks two years away from the playoff's.
And about 6 or 7 away from a championship!!!!

You cant just come out and say that. Things can change this offseason that could effect alot of teams. You just cant guess at where the team will be at.

    I don't know. I'm looking forward to:

Rudy miked in the ... Ka-Plya-offs ... next year. I have a feeling the NBA will lend us a hand to make that happen.

    Gross.

You said Utah has one more good year left. I say no. Malone will hurt his elbow and have to sit out the year cuz he cant play "his game". Stockton will be all alone and finally hang it up cuz Sloan will try to milk him for all he's worth in the absense of Malone.

    DOWN WITH THE JAZZ!!

Realistically, the Rockets have a good chance at a run for the plyaoffs next year. Realistically, the Rockets will storm the championship next year.

The pre-season hoopla has begun. I love the off-season bandwagon.

    plyaoffs bound baby.

    BOOYAH!

Sorry Vince but you are dead wrong in that assumption.

The Rockets, without Charles Barkley most of the season, with an ailing Hakeem Olajuwon(who was also out most of the season) and 2 rookies starting major minutes still won 34 games.

L.A. wouldn't be anywhere near where they are without Shaq, let alone Shaq and Kobe or Rice out of the lineup.

Think Minnesota would have made the playoffs without KG? Nope.

The Kings are an over-rated joke. They are all flash and no substance. Don't let last years performance vs. Utah fool you.

Utah is showing signs of getting old. I'm willing to bet they don't finish higher than 5th next season.

Point is the Rockets finished fairly strong. They learned how to finish games, something they couldn't do early in the season. We were 6 games under .500. They can make that up and be 6 games over in my opinion.
