    8. Brandon Roy
    Shooting Guard. Washington

    With Houston, Roy is the type of guard who can run the point on offense and guard the 2 on defense. He is a complete player and the most consistent in this class. He is not great at one thing but very good at everything. Although the Rockets need a true 3 (T-Mac is a 2, not a 3), Roy is the best player available and can give the Rockets a lot of matchups on the court that can succeed on both ends of the floor.

    the only thing i dont get is why do we draft 2 shooting guards. Kyle Lowry was the 33rd pick and could be the back up point we need.

    if you read the author's reasoning for this mock, it's purely speculation. There are no sources, No stories about seeing anything in person. purely speculation based on what he or she has seen at DraftExpress (as admitted by the author).

    I can go to DraftExpress, NBAdraft.net, and ESPN's insider in order to form my own opinion just like whoever wrote this mock, and in my opinion, do a better job.

    they had reddick dropping to the cavs in the mid 20s. not too sure about that. but they have roy dropping to us, so I think this draft is spot on.

    First off, TMac is a legitimate 3. He's a poitn forward, able to play positions 1-3.

    But he does know talent, he just doesn't know when to stop drafting strictly upon it... :D

    Saer Sene going 5th ain't gonna happen. This guy seems like he's just trying to see what last name looks good on the back of a particular team jersey. Anybody that straight up says that they're "trying to be different" by picking Sene at 5th shouldn't be paid any serious mind to.

    HAHA my point exactly though that scenario could happen just like that only it would be shelden going 5 instead! Actually i think their is a 50/50 chance that a elite 6 falls to us most likely morrison gay or roy but i would say that its a toss up because everyone on insider says shelden has already signed with the hawks and their is a good chance minny or boston goes with marcus will!
