I think most of you will agree: the houses of The Real World are often more exciting than the morons who live in them. Here's a site devoted to the houses. http://www.realworldhouses.com Next season the cast will live on the 28th floor of The Palms Casino and Hotel in Vegas. Some of you might know that that hotel is owned by the Maloof Brothers, owners of the Kings. os
Even though I've only really seen the most recent Real World, I still think the houses are so totally awesome. Screw the houses on Cribs, I want a Real World House!
I doubt the people who live in the Cribs cribs shop at IKEA, the official furniture store of The Real World. os
My friend was part of the Chicago cast. She felt like the other houses were better than the Chicago one.
Whoever she is, please tell us that she is nothing like what has been portrayed on the show. I think every person I have seen on that show is stupid and shallow, but I wonder how much of that is their personalities and how much of it is clever editing. How did you become a probationary member? I hadn't noticed that before.
It's all about the editing. No real people are "like what has been portrayed on the show." Take eleven hours out of the last six months you lived, and you could be made to look like a sinner, a saint, a serial killer, or someone addicted to this BBS. Lessee. "she" from the Chicago show... Which one? The sick girl, the obsessive love sick puppy, the slut, or the Lesbian? See what I mean!
and to think i actually liked this show once upon a time... i still watch, but just for a good laugh at how screwed up the people are, or are portrayed to be by MTV.
Her name is Cara the "slut". They definitely made her worse than she actually was. When the show would air on Tuesdays, she would get a copy of it on Monday and watch it. After the first few shows, she was devastated. She couldnt believe how they manipulated the situation.
i remember her having aspirations to become a star in Hollywood... did she ever make it? what about that dude Jared? yeah, i'm a loser that watched the show even though i hated it... but nothing else was on TV at that hour.
I went to Hawii (Oahu) this summer w/ my girlfriend and we alked by the place they worked at "Local Motion" and drove by that fly ass beachside crib. Those places are pretty nice and OS you're right, they're definetly more interesting than the "real" people they get to live there.
She hasnt really found anything major yet. The same goes for Kyle. They are in L.A. together looking for a career in Hollywood. Maybe she should just pack it up and head back to St. Louis.
No offense to your friend but I don't think her look is all that hot compared to most Hollywood starlets. os
The first few episodes of the Real World are key. If I don't like the characters, or something is not quite right about it, I don't watch the entire season basically. I end up watching the episodes two or three years down the line on the marathons they have, like right now, they are showing the New York X cast non stop. The same goes for Road Rules. This seasons Road Rule sucks in my opinion. It's just boring, let's **** in the winnie, and not tell anybody. That gay guy is stupid. You just wanna kick his ass because he is so damn stupid. THe real world would never come to Houston. What does Houston have to offer except the Men's Club, and this and that SOB.
