OK, I would like it if everyone posted their opinions based on what they've read (or even if you've met them) on Cat and Franchise. Most of the time I here they're inseperable, Steve wouldn't move to SG, and they both try to be GM's all too often. However, a few people have said that Francis could live with Mobley being traded and could live with moving to SG. Which is it? Bueller? I'm totally baffled by this.

    Tell you what,

Draft Ming...sign Francis to the Max for 7 years and then trade Mobley for Odom.

Francis would be mad for about a minute until he looked up and saw that he was winning at a better then 60% clip.

I don't know about the idea of trading Cat. I'm still undecided. As one topic previously posted in defense of Cat listed his contributions.

Cat signed for the team for less money, in order to help sign other players. He goes to work calling, recruiting, players that the Rockets wanted to sign. The guy obviously cares about the team. That doesn't mean that the decisions he wants are the best decisions, but they do come from the right place as far as caring about the team. For the amount of talent he has, and the amount of his paycheck, make him one of the leagues best bargains.

Also I think Cat finally started to improve the second half of the season as far as forcing his shots, and making bad decisions on the court. We knew that when we had Cat, Franchise, Eddie G, and even Mo Taylor, that the team was young and would take time to develop. Why not give them that time?

I'm not opposed to landing odom, but I don't know that we should trade Cat to do it.
