I just watched Yao Ming's high lites and read some reviews about him. He isn't explosive at all, which makes you wonder about his ability to rebound. Also, he is very lanky, without a doubt he is gonna get banged around. However, he does have a nice touch. Would you guys trade him for Raef Lafrentz or Keon Clark or even Chris Mihm?

Raef LaFrenz. No question. Finally, someone who doesn't believe the hype.

I wouldnt trade Calvin Murphy's ghetto ass suits for Chris Mihm. I would not take Chris Mihm if he decided to play for free.

Not you. I think he is talking about Dwill because he shows up right after BTM disappears saying the exact same crap.

WE'll see mid-season of 2003. I want Yao to be good but I just don't see the talent in him. Everybody is saying how impressive his work outs were but he was playing against an average college center. In fact, Jerry West said there were many backup centers that outclassed Yao. Also, weighing almost 300 and Ming has neither the bulk nor the strength to show for a guy his weight. How can you put on weight already weighing 296 lbs? So will he even be stronger? yes, but I doubt you'll see drastic improvement. I'll say he has a nice touch but so does Wang ZhiZhi. They both play face to the basket. Will you see Yao dunking over another NBA center or a forward? Doubt it. Will he make those hooks or those fade aways? Maybe...but not easily. China's league is mittens compared to NCAA and european much less the NBA. Maybe I am wrong and I hope that I am. But I'd trade him for Lafrentz or Clark. Ok, Chris Mihm was far fetched. I like the guy and hes young. Maybe a better comparison for Yao is the next Rik Smits or Sabonis. Yao will be an abover average center.

Oh, I'm being talked about? I don't know who this BTM is but if his takes are similar to mine then there are others out there that keep it crystal.
