These Jazz fans are the most idiotic people i know.. do they honestly think they will beat this team... im sorry but after tonight i think the Rockets could win the Friggin Championship... Actually all season long ive thought that.
Damn I wish the Jazz fans were more cocky or optomistic. Its hard to hate them when they doubt their own chances and realize what a good team we have. At least there are a few out there who still think they will destroy us.
Thats the thing, most of them are being realistic and feel that they are not going to win. It makes crushing their team less fun. OK not really, its still gonna be freaking great but you get my point
I don't dislike the Jazz fans, I dislike the team because of their players but will admit, defeating a team that has fans bragging about sweeping the series has a good feel about it but the Jazz fans are being a bit realistic instead of baking their team, if the fans are like this, playing any game in Utah during the playoffs shouldn't be too difficult.
That last guy reminds me of a little Dakota. Nobody picked the Jazz at 5. They're playing above their level of talent and as much as it pains me to say it it's because of that Jazzhole Jerry Sloan. But there's always somebody around that thinks they could coach better -- there's always somebody that thinks Carlos Boozer>Kobe Bryant or whoever if only they had the right coach. I base my coach of the year picks on teams that are playing above their level. My coaches of the year, in order: JVG Sam Mitchell Jerry Sloan Avery Johnson If you're a Rockets, Jazz or Raptor fan and you're unhappy with your team's coach you're a moron. Period.
nooo... go look at the Jazz Forum agian and look how most of them are sayin "we can easily beat houston, we own them", etc
I didn't know YoYao has become a Jazz fan and also hang out on their board. May be it's more formfatable there.
That's ridiculous. It's not like they're getting bashed here. We're all sports fans. Hearing from fans of a rival team is just one of the ways to enjoy the rivalry.
In case you don't get the history, The Jazz are the Devil. No rolleyes, they are. Under Jerry Sloan, they are alternately bullies and p*****s. They play dirty as a rule and then they flop and whine when they don't get calls. They are cheaters and they are lame. Historically. Now, I haven't seen the current team play enough to say they're still doing it as a rule, but that is their history and Jerry Sloan was the boss of that. And the infamous Malone hug cost us our last great shot at a championship. So the rivalry is strong, still. And it is still clear who the good guys are and who the bad guys are. I'm happy that we're playing the Jazz since there's no team I love to beat more than them. I'm a lifelong Rockets fan. And, as such, and considering how much very earned bad blood there is I will not let that rivalry go until the last member of that long-time ******* team, Jerry Sloan, retires. Meanwhile, I will cheer like hell against the Jazz, harder than I would against any other rival. Not even because of the current team but because the team that led Malone to bearhug Drexler, stealing a playoff series in the process, was a wrong, dirty, cheating team. And I would love to assure that the coach of that team, that team that played so dirty and cheated so much over so many years, never wins. The primary reason I care though is because I love the Rockets. The secondary one is I hate the Jazz. But nobody here is bashing the fans of that other site, as much as fans of such a traditionally dirty team might deserve it. Maybe you're too young to understand all that, which is fine too. But don't ever tell me to go easy on Jazz fans. It is literally impossible, being from my generation, to love the Rockets and not hate the Jazz. But that's not on us. That's on them. We played them fair and square and they cheated every damn chance they got. If you still want to defend them, go ahead. But don't expect sympathy here.
The end of Game 4, 1994 at SLC - just another pathetic example backing up your statement....the hometown timekeeper magically tacked on an extra ~ 10 sec at the end of the game to try and help the jazz out...
Hells yeah. There are a number of clear examples of their cheating that have affected the Rockets directly, but this is a cause IMO. It's not just about avenging wrongs done to the Rockets. It's about a general sense of fairness and justice. Jerry Sloan, as great of a job as he's done in recent years with less talent than he's used to, must never ever ever never win a ring. Even if we don't get through the second round I'll be warm in the comfort that we've denied them one more time. Up with The Rockets; Down with The Jazz. I can't wait.
The Jazzholes also had the nerve to complain about Jordan pushing off on Bryon Russell. Yes, it was an obvious offensive foul, but you can't have your cake and eat it too.
