Just found from the chinese website, it's the first time yao yell to tmac. The last 10 seconds, when yao got the ball, he passed to Tmac, but Tmac passed to him again, yao have to pass to Tmac back. And all of us knew what happend then. When the game is over, Yao yell to tmac:" why do you pass the ball to me?" Tmac kept quiet and went to the Locker room, JVG also looked at Tmac's face all the time. I don't feel good about this, it is ture, I saw yao said something to Tmac.
You could see him yelling at T-Mac when the game was over. I'm glad he's pissed. He needs to get on his teammates for not showing up tonight.
I beleive T-Mac was just passing it to Yao to get it back for a jump shot from behind the three point line. A two pointer would not have helped us out.
OH NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YAO YELLED AT TMAC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Is Tmac two years old that he cant take a little yellin?
sina.com has proven to be a reliable source thus far, and this doesn't sound too farfetched. McGrady made the wrong decision by passing to Yao. JVG made the wrong decision by giving McGrady the last shot. We missed too many free throws, and the refs made a few bad calls, namely the last one when they called a block on Battier when it was clearly, CLEARLY a charge.
Um? Who Cares... They are adults not little kids fighting with each other. Its not like Yao is going to yell something and Tracy is like "okay fine im not your friend anymore!".
This is a "rumor" I can believe. I don't know if it's true without watching the replays, but I originally thought the ball was passed to Yao simply because there was enough time to set up a better shot and that TMac didn't have a good, uncontested shot - am I wrong? Could TMac have been trying to regain footing and get the ball back from Yao? Either way, I can see this being true... if TMac had a clear shot with enough time to shoot, then no way should Yao get that ball back. opefully nothing is going wrong in the House of Rockets.
YES !!! Which is why JVG never.....NEVER yells at Tmac....his ego is so fricken fragile it isn't funny. Tmac needs coddling, apparently. DD
I noticed this news from sina.com too but it was too "intriguing" (am I using the right word?) to be even mentioned here. I didn't have a chance to watch the game but did watch the highlight of this last play at nba.com. Seems like TMac was using Yao as a transition to get another better shooting position. He probably not comfortable enough on that baseline 3 pointer. The nba.com clip didn't show what happened thereafter but I think Yao has no reason to yell at TMac. The whole team is responsible for the lost tonight. Shouldn't blame a single palyer/coach or two. Get it over and look for the next game. GO ROCKETS!!!
i only watched the first q of this game then stopped for i know we would lose for sure. rox cannot win good teams with tmac playing like today. but if yao really did this, i dislike his move. tmac played great when yao was out, 20-12, that is why we are having a little hope for home court. ppl shouldn't yell at him for one or two bad games. yao shouldn't either. there were enough games when tmac did great while yao sucked, tmac never yelled to him. on the contrary, tmac always encouraged him, defended him before espn or those stupid haters. and you guys should see that tmac has been struggling since yao returned. yao returned to lineup, too many things need to be adjusted, all those are jobs for the coach and the playmaker, who is tmac for this rox team. i don't think jvg is good at coaching offensive games, so the load on tmac is huge. be a little patient. especially you, yao.
can someone send an email to "Make a Call with Ronny Nunn" and ask about that call? AND more importantly if the call is NOT legit did the official get a punishment ?
You know what? I will bet Yao can make that 3pt shot......he is a good shooter. I would rather Yao take it than Rafer. DD
McGrady didn't have a very good look, but there was not enough time to set up another shot. He had to just jack it up. As it turned out there wasn't enough time to set up another shot.
