I got a couch and chair that need to be re-upholstered. Either that or just tossed out and buy something new. I'd rather go the cheaper route but I'm not sure getting a chair or couch made new again is any cheaper. I bought a my couch at Norwalk...a few years ago the price they quoted me to re-upolsther was practically the price to buy a new couch. Any thoughts? Any upholstery shops you recommend? Thanks, os
Re-upholster!!! I can give you names of several places that will do it for less than Norwalk. One good one is Villarreal's on the north east side. It is a little beat up, nasty warehouse, but she does amazing work for not a lot of money. If you decide to buy new and want to toss our your old stuff, toss it this way.
Jeff, What would you call "not a lot of money" for your regular sized couch (2 cushions)? I also have an average size chair with ottoman. os
Probably a couple hundred bucks for the sofa depending on the fabric. Chairs usually go for $100-$150 and about $100 for the ottoman. A lot depends on the fabric because that's where most of the cost is. You can probably get out for under $750 to reuphoslter everything if you choose right.
