The Steve and Baron commercial was definately good, but I was expecting to see some hot kicks on Steve and Yao for the ASG. Steve and Yao were both sporting the same old same old. At least they werent foold like Ron Artest and T-Mac wearing mixed matched kicks, but it would have been good to see something exclusive. Red/White/Blue Franchise model for example??? Nike had nice exclusives, Adidas Had some as well. RBK really, really dropped the ball.
I forgot to mention, Iverson had exclusive shoes made for him. And they looked NICE! It would have been nice if RBK didnt forget their other All Star Starters!!!
I am sure this question has already been asked before... what shoes are Yao wearing now?? Can you buy them anywhere?
i believe the spinning shoes are made by Latrell Sprewell's company. He runs an auto accessory shop on the East Coast that's popular with the kids. These shoes are an offshoot to the spinning dubs that he claims he invented. I saw it on ESPN2's Fastbreak a few nights ago. I think they're pretty neat....if you're 12.
Yao is wearing some RBK shoe that is only available at a certain retail store. Since Im not intrested I forgot which one, but here is a pic. Sorry I couldnt be of much help.
also let me drop this note... The New Nike Shox "Dynasty" was designed with Yao in mind (before he left Nike). It is said to be inspired by a battleship that Yao likes since he is entrigued by military stuff. Sorry no pic right now. I may post one later.
Thanks Gummi Clutch I hope they'll have some signature shoes for yao soon. I need some red sneakers to match my rox away jersey
what is the point. Can someone make decent shoes anymore that dont look like your trying out for the circus?
Lord, someone find pics of these shoes. I've got to see what shoes inspired by a freakin' battleship look like.
Sprewell is actually with Dada now. I think the shoe above was based on his suggestion. I actually think they look pretty sweet. Much better than some of the other crap that's being brought out lately.
You can buy them at Finishline, and they are giving away a free Yao Ming poster when you buy them. The poster is huge and pretty sweet.
