Dukes of Hazzard I thought was mildly entertaining and excelled at what it was trying to be. But I guess I can understand why it's there (though there were far worse movies out this year)

    I don't buy Hayden Christiansen's nom either.

And I am completely befuddled by Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise being on there for Batman Begins and War of the Worlds. I thought both did a fine job and if were the weaker points of those movies, it certainly didn't warrant this, especially with all the true crap that came out this year. Probably is just a cheap shot at them.

i didn't see dukes of hazzard, but i have a hard time believing it deserved all those nominations. just from the commercials i would agree with JYD that it did what it set out to do.

as for cruise in war of the worlds, wtf?

and what is dirty love, i've never even heard of it. from this list it appears it has carmen electra and jenny mccarthy so it sounds promising.

Bewitched deserves all the Razzies it can get. I was fortunate enough not to see most of the others.

(Hayden Christensen... could have been worse, but could have been a lot better. He did improve in Episode III.)

Bewitched simply wasn't a remake of a TV show, it's a movie about the remake of a TV show. It's unoriginality squared!

...anyways, Jenny McCarthy and Carmen Electra in a movie called "Dirty Love"? Damn, time for me to make a trip to Hollywood Video...

I've said it before, but it bears repeating. The Razzies NEED to be on TV somewhere. Not only would it generate a good amount of money, but more of the actors would probably show up to get their "awards". I could easily see the Razzies on Spike TV. Plus, they could get David Spade to host a red carpet special.

Too bad Adam McKay had a hand in writing Bewitched. He's a funny guy. That movie obviously wasn't. I couldn't even bring myself to watch it. So I can't really speak from firsthand experience.

However if there is one funny part in it, I am sure that it was written by Adam McKay. Nora Ephron has been annoying her whole career.

I just saw it to see FEMININE BeAUTY QUEEN Nicole had-a-better-ass-in-Cold-Mountain Kidman.

I don't know why Bewitched wasn't in the WORST MOVIES category.

A-Train, didn't Halle Berry show up to the last Razzies to collect her CatWoman prize?

Yeah, she and one other person have showed up at the ceremony to accept their trophies. Any exposure is good exposure. Put them on TV, and the actors will come...

Heck, they could even do a funny musical number, do parodies of some of the bad scenes...the possibilities are endless.

Actually A-Train, three people have shown up to accept their Razzie award trophies. Halle Berry was one, Tom Green showed up to receive his for "Freddy Got Fingered" and Paul Verhoeven showed up to receive his for "Showgirls."

To be fair...that was James Earl Jones :p

And if I had to pick the weakest link in that movie, it'd be Samuel L.
