I remember hearing this and geting so excited! I was expecting the next Ben Wallace. Could you imagine if Dorsey lived up to his hype, playing with this up tempo style team? Will Joey Dorsey ever be a factor for this team or is he a wasted commodity? Joey is puting up good numbers in the D-league but we all know that doesn't really mean much. What will happen with him?
The man will be a beast down the road for Houston. This is, unless, they trade him which wouldn't surprise me with this franchise
What is one thing he has done in the NBA to make you think this? To this point his play would lead you to believe he is not an NBA player- PLUS he is already what 26, 27 years old?
Lebron James is bigger, faster, taller, and can jump higher than Ray Lewis. Lebron is Lewis with a basketball. Dorsey is like Jason Babin with a basketball.
He's just not developing like they would like and fast enough also. He has one year left on his contract I think and he will be let go. Sad to see the potential go to waste but I agree if they let him go he's just a rebounder right now.
Seriously? You must be watching different Joey Dorsey because the Dorsey we know has no b-ball IQ and doesn't put in consistent effort. He better start to learn how to play defense because that's the only thing expected out of him right now. Time is running out for him, if he doesn't show much better improvement he is gone next year.
My guess is that Ray Lewis would probably be better at basketball than "Ray Lewis with a basketball" is.
Ching with a basketball would be beastly. Joey Dorsey is Joey Dorsey. Even if he doesn't pan out for us, it really doesn't matter that much. Brother has potential but more draft picks then not don't always pan out, ask Luther Head.
Carl Lewis with a Microphone. At a basketball game. i think he underestimated the amount of work and dedication it would take for him to become a legitimate NBA player. i loved him in college. to me it's a pity he hasn't been able to get it together.
