He has hit four three pointers and it's just over six minutes into the first quarter!

He needs 1 more three pointer to tie the record for most three pointers made in a season.

Are there Sonics fans on this board? I know we have Jazz fans, Nuggets fans, Warriors fan(s), Mavs fan...any other teams?

Ray Allen would be the perfect 2 guard for the Rockets. Never going to happen, but still...

A game where Ray just starts jacking...shoudl be fun to watch.

I'm still trying to figure out why this meaningless game is on national TV. The Lakers game means more, if they win they get the 7th spot and have a chance against the suns, if they lose they get the 8th and get smoked by the spurs. Tonights game is Huge for the Lakerz.

Ray Allen will always get his, he's incredibly stats-conscious and plays better when there is something on the line for him.

They have to be the most disappointing team this season. How do you explain pretty much the same exact team that battled the Spurs in the playoffs last season (took 'em to 6 games and played the Spurs as tough as anyone did) falling WAAAAAAY short of a playoff seeding this season? It's not like they had major injuries or anything.

May be they were a fluke last season, I don't know how else to explain it...

Not really. Most people predicted that they would fall off sharply. They lost Antonio Daniels and Jerome James who were both integral parts of their team, not to mention Nate McMillan.

how is it that teams we need to win to help our draft position can fall apart so spectacularly? seattle has managed to blow the lead all the way down to 4 with about 2 to go. and denver had to hit a tough 3 plus a floater to cut it from 9 to 4 so quickly. i mean i guess that's why they're competing with us for ping pong balls but it almost doesn't seem possible to constantly get leads and then blow them the way these teams do (just start off behind and stay behind, don't get my hopes up). and denver doesn't even wanna win so it's not like seattle is facing a juggernaut.

Whew. They made us sweat it, but it looks like Seattle is going to pull this one out. 8/9 slot here we come.

It's fortunate for us that the Sonics won. I still feel that we aren't placed high enough in this weak draft but who know what will happen. I just hope CD will get a quality player.
