I'd say a 7, they are just about where I expected them to be.

I give this season a rating of 9, because before the season even started, the yaoless rockets were not even expected to do much this season, they were expected to be just a 25-30 win team, and a bottom dweller; the rockets have played well this season and have clearly exceeded everyone's expectations, with 33 wins already and 31 losses, including the best nba sport critics; The rockets would have got a 10 from me had they currently being in the playoffs seeding, but they are 5 games out with 18 to play and still have a good chance to catch the spurs for a playoff spot, who are playing without parker the rest of the way. March 16 and on will be tough schedule for spurs rest of way

I didn't think we would be over .500 at this stage of the season to be honest. Without Yao and dare i say T-Mac i thought we would really struggle, but these boys have a lot of character and fight. We have been frustrating in the last month or two but we are in good shape for the future.
