I would easily give it an A. They have addressed most of their needs in FA and can now focus on getting some good young players in the draft.
When you improve one side of the ball so dramatically while still picking up a couple solid additions on the other side, you have to give them an A.
'B'... so far, some mediocre veterans and perhaps one impact player in Moulds. In any case, it's better than what we had so far.
i voted B for this very reason. we're not adding pro bowlers. we're addressing some needs. some of the players are merely average. sadly, that's a step up!
I couldn't be any happier about it so far. Bush will be the icing on the cake of an up and coming super bowl contender.
So far, we've largely made solid, unspectacular moves that are tailored to help our team. Reminds me of a certain team in the Northeast that doesn't really represent a certain city or state but a whole region. Anyway, they've done a good job plugging up holes on the offense, but until they address the glaring deficiencies at O-line and on defense, they get a solid B.
yeah i've... believe it or not... been half impressed with the Texans offseason this year. granted i'm not the biggest football fan, but seems like to me we've done a pretty good job on at least upgrading the OL and WR/RB (provided we pick bush). i'd almost give them an A based on having a team that could now win more than 2 games alone lol... but we'll see what we do with the draft as well. at any rate, should be a little more fun to watch the texans play this year.
cc still has the draft to screw up. i think it goes like this: 1 Bush(omg, bpa) 2 lendale white(omg, bpa evah pt 2) 3 omar jacobs(can't believe he fell this far, if he would have come out last year he would've been a top 5 pick) 3 Charlie whitehurst(trade bait) and from then on it just gets better.
B+ i'll change it to an A when they get Bush, a good CB, 2 OL men and some talent a mlb or slb and weakside de
