Just wondering how CFs feel about the newly 'rejuvenated' T-Mac. I give him a solid 7.5/10. Nothing spectacular. 15 points on 6-14 shooting, not bad. I liked how he was playing early on and he seemed to be more aggressive. To top it off he made a key bucket down the stretch.
Not alot of mention of this but that last bucket, tmac went to his right....been a while since ive seen that...I thought he did a good job of integrating himself in to the offense. He defended pretty well too. I give him an 8.
He didn't really try with help defense, I'm sure I'm not the only one who noticed that. Offensively I liked how he played. He's not going to have that quick first step right away and we have to understand that. I'll always wish he would put forth more effort defensively but I'm used to it. 8/10
he still needs to maintain his aggression as the game progresses. he was extremely aggressive earlier on but became passive as the game went on. he played decent according to his standards. but after the game, he said he didn't feel tired and he felt fine so that's a good step. it's not going to be a one game thing. as long as tracy gets better as the months progress, he'll be great in the playoffs. his quickness/explosiveness wasn't there. hopefully it'll come.
7/10. Statistically didnt do nothing crazy, shot a decent %. Played below average defense, made a key bucket, hit some open jumpshots. But most important, got the win.
5/10 He didn't go FULL THROTTLE. At least gimme 1 dunk to show me some improvement in his physical ability.
6/10. I like how he played within the offense and moved the ball. Still slow on defense, and slow overall. He needs to get the FT line more often. No one asked, but Artest 9.5/10 (would be an easy 10 if he hadn't missed that key FT).
Hard to judge one game, but ya know, it seems a lot like the way T-mac was playing earlier in the year - nothing phenomenal and not terrible either. But I'm happy to see him back. He helps the team out from an offensive one...setting up guys for drives, layups and easy shots. Just because who he is causes the floor to be more spaced. A lot of people don't understand why he stands outside - and that's because he's creating space...opposing teams aren't going to double off of him.
He still stand around a lot, not particularly aggressive, but has a good shooting night. a 6.5 out of 10.
He had lift on his jumpshot early. Late in the game he looked like the same old Tmac. He played sloppy D, he didn't move with out the ball and he did not take it to the rim. I give him a 5
He doesn't move around without the ball...i don't think he'll ever break away from that. But I think that's ok since his strength is as a playmaker and scorer more so then a finisher - especially with the lack of hops now. You can tell that his presence alone creates space and helps facillitate scoring. His defense was not good. Out of 10....for any player, it would be an 8, for T-mac's status as a star, I'd say it was a 4.5
That left handed WEAK layup should have been a dunk. He took it to the whole about three times.....pathetic
Yup,when he drove past his defender,I thought he was finally gonna dunk it,but he just couldn't get his strength from his knee and finished with a weak layup,he got lucky that one went in.
