I think we should wait and see how the Rockets roster pans out. The Rockets are still trying to find out what their roster is going to look like. I am guessing we will have a lot better idea of that next week.

Wait till draft night plus July 1st is when free agents can be made an offer to. I believe by next Thursday the roster will be more stable.

Yeah, this question is way too premature. Let's HOPE the starting lineup looks very different.

yao - 1 -tied with duncan
    hayes - 24
    shane - 15
    tmac - 4
rafer - 18 (i believe he will be better just because he can play less minutes with mike james coming off the bench)

We need to get a better PF ...

I would rate them in the following order:
    Rafer-22
    T-Mac-2
    Battier-11
    Hayes-29
    Yao-1
T-Mac is way better then wade the only one ahead of him is kobe.

    alston - 26
tmac - 2 (behind kobe; i think he's better than wade b/c heat were simply .500 w/o shaq IN THE EAST)
    battier - mid-tier so 15ish
    hayes - 25-26
    yao - 1 (i don't consider duncan a center)

bench - w/ james now so like 10ish???

how is t-mac and kobe better than Wade Wade single-handedly defeated the Mavs in the Finals.

if u watch closely, mavs doubled shaq exclusively in the first 4-5 games. they only started to double him a lot starting in games 5 and 6. :D

and heat w/o shaq last yr, a .500 team. heat w/o wade, much better. :D

parker won the finals MVP, is he that good? or did he benefit from duncan's double teams by the cavs? :D

wade's great def. but last yr w/o shaq was the first time he has played w/ mostly scrubs and he barely stayed .500 in the east of all places.

when wade got injured, heat played muc hbetter w/ shaq as the center point. though it's a small sample, it tells a lot.

i would have to put kobe, james ( i know hes put at the SF position but come on the guy should really be a SG not a PG or a SF) and wade ahead of mcgrady (mainly because he NEARLY carried his team past the mavs). as much as i appreciate his greatness he still hasn't shown me a reason to believe in him. post season is more important than regular season and we all know he has done enough in the reg season now its time to show up and explode in the post season.

rafer (dead last or second to last)
    tmac (4)
    battier (15?)
    hayes (20ish)
    yao (1)

and with the comment directed at dwade for carrying the heat past the mavs, i think he really did put that team on his shoulders and carried them. the officiating made it alot easier for him to get his shots and score from the line but thats apart of this game so i dont knock him for that. shaq is a very important player on that team and yes even with wade at his best (from what hes shown so far from last season) he can't put his team that far from .500 but shaq is really on the decline so saying that dwade is less important than shaq is a huge mistake.

    we really need a 4... :(

Well Duncan plays like a real center, but he's listed as a PF. While Amare plays like a real PF, but he's listed as Center. So either way, one of them is better than Yao at C position.
