Who would you rather have??? Assuming they cost us the same trade bait, who would you rather the Rockets trade for.
lamar odom. no question about it for me. i'm not so sure if i even want lewis over caron butler right now, considering what he wants to get paid.
I really think Odom could solve some of our problems as far as moving the ball around and at 6-10 and can take it to the basket. Maybe he can be the point forward and that would let both Mobley and Francis play the 2.
Sorry guys, but the way they're talking over here in LA is that Odom is stayin around and they no doubt want him back on the Clippers next year (at least until the next trading deadline)...I think Odom would be a better addition too, but we have more of a chance to land Lewis by the start of the year.
Lewis. Like it or not, Francis is & wants to be, the PG. I believe that is why we have him now, instead of Memphis. Trying to force him to be a SG, instead of a PG, could push him to look at his other options, come contract time. Which, by the way, is next year.
I'm not sure about Odom!First,he is coming from an injury,like Taylor,and we are going to take a big risk in Odom!But the chemistry would be good with him!As i saw on Rookie Game 2001,Francis and Odom are good friends! I like Lewis!He fits in the team (odom,too)!It's positive,that he wants to be with the team,so he will be happy with us and will try to do his job at the Rockets well,so that can be another plus for Lewis.He can run fastbreaks very well and can catch alley oops!I would be happy with a sign & trade deal!Perhaps Seattle can sign him for around 6$ and we can trade Taylor for him!!! As is they both come with baggage and other problems (be it drug related or attitude related or injury related), so, I'd just have to go with skill, in which case I think ODOM wins out.
