It's hilarious that Turkeyglue is better and more deserving of that contract than him.

Oh Shard, what happened to you? You're merely a roleplayer. You used to be a budding star.

Don't blame the player, blame the GM.

Rashard Lewis contract is actually worse. He is going to be inducted in the same Hall of Shame as Juwan Howard.

That is one hilarious picture. It would've been better if you replaced everything with Washington logos:)

The funny thing is Juwan can thank Pat Riley for that crazy contract. I'll borrow a phrase from my industry and apply it here: The NBA is only as smart as the dumbest GM.

Comparing Rashard to Juwan is very appropriate.

    good timing. idiotic GM.

    Turkoglu (6.3 mil) > Lewis (15.6 mil)

NBA is funny business anyway. you dont even know how those idiotic GM can stay in their jobs.

you would think, a 100 million dollars would mean someone greater than yao, someone greater than james, someone greater than amare... but you get lewis. lol, i still laugh at the stupidty of the magic. only good thing they have done lately is the howard draft pick, which was pretty much a gimme since okafor was picked before.

wasn't it more like $120 million? Could've had him for $90 million, as hilarious as that sounds.

I don't understand it either. He always struck me as a guy who could be the second best player on a bad team, the best player on a horrible team but a role player on a very good or great team.

oh ya, my bad, forgot about that. the steve and tracy trade, and orlando promised they won't get okafor if bobgets don't get those players that weren't protected in the trade. thought the other way around. but still, that is the only good thing they have done.

Rashard Lewis is as streaky as Rafer, but at least Rafer gets paid the proper amount.

People are still mad the Rockets didn't draft him. They got Dickerson (who led to Francis who led to McGrady) and Mobley (who led to McGrady). It was a good draft for them.

You shouldn't look at it that way. Just because the Rockets traded Francis and Mobley for McGrady doesn't make the converse, that the Rockets couldn't have traded for McGrady without Francis nor Mobley, true.

I don't think folks were complaining about the Dickerson selection. I think it was the following picks of Bryce Drew and Mirsad Turkcan over Lewis.

I understand that. Looking at the draft as a whole, the Rockets had 3 mid-first round picks and came away with 2 starters. That's usually a successful draft.
