Rashard Lewis to Philly !!! With all of the rumors the Rockets maybe be trying to trade for A.Daniels, I looked on some of the Seattle sites and according to one of their fans as "posted/ reported" by CNN .. Seattle currently has a trade on the table with Philly.. Seattle trades Rashard Lewis & J.James to Philly for Samuel D. and Glen ( Big Dog ) Robinson..
Have not checked the CNN site, but several posters on the RealGM message board for the Seattle Sonics restate they heard the same info on CNN tonight
GREAT trade for Philly if they can do it. Rashard Lewis will finally give AI a good, young second option, and the best part is that if/when Iverson goes down, Lewis is more than capable of taking over as the leader of the team. Again, great trade for Philly if it goes down.
I don't believe it..but if it's true..sounds good for Philly! Vince Carter..3 way I wanted Jerome James on the Rockets to replace Cato! lol
IF true, then the idea of Dalembaert to get a player moved (as I suggested with Snow) seems quite realistic now.
Why would Seattle do that trade? Once Ray Allen bolts, who do they have left without Rashard Lewis? Plus, if he's available, we should send Mo-T, JJ, and a pick for him. He plays unselfish BB and has developed into a nice player.
I call BS. CNN wouldn't be the first to get their hands on a rumor like that. Also, the trade makes absolutely no sense for Seattle.
This can't be true. Remember how much Big Dog and Ray Allen couldn't stand each other after the Bucks traded away Robinson? They started airing their dirty laundry about how they really didn't get along in Milwaukee. As I recall, there were even comments from Robinson about settling their dispute "outside the arena, in the parking lot." No way Seattle is dumb enough to put these two on the same team once again.
