after all this webber and rahim mania, i was wondering if the rockets will still try to go after rashard this summer (he did sign a one year deal right?) he is getting like 15 points and 7 boards this year i think. ------------------ http://www.democrats.com
Oh yeah! .......... of course we want him. I was soooo dissapointed when we did not draft him. (I am Elsik alum(n)(nus)(ni)(inum)or whatever) ------------------
Yeah, I as well was under the impression that Rashard was locked up with the Sonics for 3 years or so. ------------------ "Of course, everything looks bad if you remember it!" Homer Simpson
Seeing Rashard with Desmond Mason reminded me a lot of the friendship that we saw between Mobley and Francis last year at the dunk contest. Rashard didn't even embarrass himself during the 3 pt contest (that honor belongs to Allan Houston). I see him one day playing for the Rockets near the end of his career just like Drexler. If I remember correctly the Rockets also passed on Drexler in the draft. ------------------ [This message has been edited by Smokey (edited February 12, 2001).]
Of course we want him... the question is: do we have anything the Sonics want? Probably not. They're about to rebuild. So, unless anybody wants to part with Francis or Mobley... Lewis is out of our reach. Ah well... CD and Rudy goofed on Turkan but then redeemed themselves with Mobley. We came out even, or better . ------------------ Shandon Anderson rocks. The lottery sucks. Playoffs 2001.
Rashard Lewis' game is perfect for the Rockets....He runs the floor, he rebounds well, and best of all, he's an accurate three point shooter.....I'd trade Shandon and a good backup for him..... ------------------
