I scoffed when it was rumored he would get a 4yr/$40mil deal. Even with the cap going up to $127mil in two years that would be a big payday. This is madness.
This is going to go down as a terrible contract. In a few years they will be dying to get rid of it. I just don't understand the stupidity of it, even with an increasing cap, that is a lot of money for a role player.
Toronto makes some of the dumbest decisions with SFs I've ever seen... First the Landry Fields contract, then getting Rudy Gay, now $15 mil for DEMARRE CARROLL??? Good for him though, nobody thought he would be anything when he was with the Rockets.
